Pearl – luxury doesn’t shout, it whispers
Every build has its reason. This one came from a simple idea: to create something refined, not loud. We weren’t chasing attention or trying to reinvent an icon. The goal was to bring out the best in what was already there — to enhance it quietly, through quality, detail, and balance.
We named it Pearl - an homage to the shimmering white paint that subtly shifts in the light, much like the precious gem.
The Icon Revisited
Pearl is a classic 3.0 SC Porsche Targa that already looked stunning when it arrived. While we left the mechanics untouched, the interior was completely renovated - every detail has been redesigned to reflect our vision.
Our aim was simple: transform the interior into a space that feels as exclusive and personal as the car’s exterior already suggests.
Let’s start from the ground up
We installed our custom carpet set and floor mats, handmade from brown bouclé fabric, finished with a trim that perfectly matches the interior leather. It’s a subtle foundation, but one that sets the tone for everything else that follows.
We chose bouclé over the original-style material for its more elegant, refined look — a nod to classic craftsmanship. Its rich texture brings warmth and depth to the interior, echoing the style of early longhood-era. Alongside the backdated dash trim and vintage-inspired seat design, it’s another detail that helps bridge past and present in a seamless, honest way.
Warm tones and bold textures
The interior is wrapped in cognac leather, bringing warmth and depth to every surface it touches. For contrast and character, we used a custom Black/White/Green pepita fabric on the seat centers, dash trim and door’s speaker section - classic, but with a twist. Together, the materials create a space that feels both timeless and bold, with every texture carefully chosen to complement the next.
The color palette wasn’t accidental. Cognac leather pays tribute to the rich interiors of vintage grand tourers, while the pepita — reimagined here with a green accent — adds a motorsport edge rooted in Porsche heritage. It’s a combination that nods to the past without imitating it, tailored for a car that lives comfortably between eras.
CarBone RS Door Panels: Simplicity with Purpose
One of the highlights of Pearl’s interior is our signature RS-style door panels. A tribute to classic motorsport minimalism, these panels are stripped of any unnecessary bulk and crafted by our upholstery specialists.
The most important parts of our door panels are the straps. For this project, we chose deep black leather to complement the darker accents inside the car — including the window switch frames and the built-in phone pocket. It’s a practical detail, but one that also adds a purposeful, understated character to the door design.
Sleek look of phone pocket
It is well known that the interior of the G model is not one of the largest. Looking for solutions to organize the interior, we installed our phone pocket. This product is a combination of powder-coated metal frame with thick, sturdy genuine leather. We love smart solutions, that’s why there are three holes on the bottom of the pouch to get rid of accumulated dust easily.
BF Torino Le Mans Sport Seats: Form Meets Function
Comfort and support are everything in a classic sports car, especially one destined to be driven as intended. For Pearl, we installed BF Torino Le Mans Sport seats, upholstered in matching cognac leather with the same custom pepita pattern found on the doors. The seats not only look period-correct, they feel it, too. Perfectly sculpted for long drives or short blasts, they bring a motorsport edge while maintaining the warmth and luxury we envisioned from the start.
The combination of cognac leather and pepita isn’t just visually striking — it’s grounded in Porsche history. Houndstooth patterns like this were used in early 911s and 912s, often paired with bucket-style seats for both road and track. By upholstering the Le Mans Sport seats this way, we’re continuing a tradition that blends motorsport function with classic interior design.
The Harmony of Texture and Tone
What truly sets Pearl apart is the cohesion of materials and textures throughout the cabin. The dark brown carpeting, custom piped in tan, grounds the design in sophistication. The dashboard and reupholstered steering wheel continue the cognac theme, inviting you to reach out and touch everything. Nothing is loud. Nothing is forced. It’s a space that calms you even before you fire up the flat-six behind you.
A Jewel on Wheels
Pearl isn’t just a car. It is a statement. A reminder that luxury doesn’t shout - it whispers. And for those who get it, the details tell all.
