Set dedicated for pair of RS Door Panels. Our product can be adapted for other vintage cars. The grommets are made of durable black nylon material to provide the best quality. 

Talk about the design

The RS Grommets & Straps Set blends sharp, retrofuturistic lines with the smooth, flowing forms of the 964 generation. They keeps the same size and mounting points as the original, making it a perfect fit. What’s new? The shape and details. We’ve redesigned the grommets with subtle lines and contours that give them a retrofuturistic look, matching the style of other CarBone products. Made from durable black nylon, they are built to last a lot, while the strong woven fabric straps ensure reliability and a classic motorsport feel.

Easy installation

The product is designed for easy snap-in placement, making the whole process very simple.

Door Closing:
The closing grommets are mounted using screws that go through the following components: Door closing strap > Bracket > Door panel > Metal
Important: Before attaching the brackets, thread the closing straps through the grommets. Once the brackets are installed, click the grommets into place on the brackets.

Door Opening:
The opening grommets are mounted to the door card using two screws inserted from the hidden side of the panel. The door opening strap is mounted using a pin that go through the following components: Opening lever > Strap
Important: The mechanism have to be secured with a cotter pin.

• 4 grommets for door closing straps

• 2 grommets for door opening straps

• 4 brackets for door closing strap grommets

• 4 screws for mounting door opening strap grommets to the door cards

• 4 screws for mounting door closing strap grommets

• 2 fabric straps for door closing

• 2 fabric straps for door opening

• 2 pins for mounting door opening straps

• 2 cotter pins for securing the door opening strap pins
