A plug & play reinterpretation of the classic 964 center console.

Monomod continues our retro-futuristic design line - clean, functional, and purposeful. Inspired by modernist and Bauhaus ideas, it strips away the unnecessary to highlight pure shape and usability. The console becomes an architectural element inside your car - simple, sculptural, and unmistakably modern.

Design philosophy

Monomod was designed to be straightforward, intelligent, and reversible. Every line and gap was deliberately shaped to allow easy upholstery (for RAW version) — we even left subtle clearance where material naturally folds.

We didn’t stop at the console itself. We also designed a full set of matching panels/frames for buttons and knobs - so everything aligns perfectly and looks cohesive once installed. Each piece follows the same modernist logic: minimal, geometric, and focused purely on function. The result is a console that feels like a single, unified form rather than a collection of separate parts.

The console includes an integrated MagSafe charger, perfectly positioned — no need to turn your head to the right as with dash-mounted chargers. It’s in the driver’s line of sight, exactly where it should be.

Delivered as a complete kit, including:

  • Gear lever surround – mounts to the OEM rubber boot
  • Handbrake cover
  • Rear cover with a small storage pocket and lip for rubber finishing trim
• Set of icons - placed in the button panel
• MagSafe charger - with all necessary wiring

RAW version for DIY self-upholstery 

You can upholster it with leather, vinyl, Alcantara, or any other material, but we recommend vinyl (as in the original 964 console). It’s the natural choice for this part.

We intentionally made it very easy to upholster - one single piece of material is enough. No advanced skills required, no special tools.

Installation

Monomod is fully plug&play. No cutting, bending, or modifying required. All connectors fit perfectly. We recommend fastening the console to the tunnel using the lower mounting tabs – two screws per side. That’s the only “modification” you’ll need, and it’s worth doing.

Basic steps:

1. Remove the original console and unplug connectors.
2. Fit the new console and screw it to the tunnel.
3. Run 12V wiring for the MagSafe charger.
4. Connect the panel plugs.
5. Install the shifter cover, handbrake cover, and rear section.
6. If you’re not confident with electrical work, ask a qualified workshop to help with wiring the charger.

FAQ

Will Monomod fit a 993?
Yes and no. The physical fitment is close, but the buttons differ. If you can provide parts or reference, we’ll design a dedicated 993 version.

Can I upholster it myself?
Yes. It’s designed for easy DIY upholstery - similar to our door pads, but larger. 

Can I install it myself?
Yes, with basic tools and patience. The most advanced step is connecting the charger. You’re doing this at your own risk. Avoid using long random screws - the tunnel hides fuel and brake lines.
